Pediatric House Calls is a collection of medical and parenting advice articles from a pediatrician's "inside" perspective. All are written in a down to earth, conversational style punctuated with many examples and stories from years of medical practice and caring for infants, children and adolescents. This section of articles deal with the many and varied "little things" that parents must do to "Raise em Right" and make their chidren independent, competent and compassionate members of society. I've heard it said that in the allocation of time many people become so occupied dealing with all the "monkeys on their backs" that they don't make time to ever handle all of the "gorrillas in the basement."
